Puppies Arrived June 1, 2026
Five days ahead of schedule, the #CaveInn’s Creek puppies made their grand entrance into the world. 🐾
Since delivery day, Milly has embraced motherhood beautifully, keeping her babies warm, well-fed, and content while settling into her new role as Momma.
Because these little ones arrived early, we chose to delay their wellness check for a few days, allowing them uninterrupted time to bond with Milly and focus on growing stronger each day. Yesterday, they made their first trip to the veterinarian, and we're happy to report that everyone did fantastic!
We typically leave Momma at home for these appointments. While the puppies take a quick field trip, Milly enjoys a little time to rest and recharge in the comfort of her nursery, which is often far less stressful for her than traveling along.
The best news? Every puppy is showing beautiful weight gain—a milestone we celebrate in these early days.
Tomorrow begins another important chapter in their journey as we start Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), one of the many steps we take to help build confident, resilient puppies.

Rueben The Ghost:
Rueben comes to us from Hedge Lane Labradors, the renowned home of “Big Sexy” Nash. His sire, Elway, is a direct son of Nash, carrying on a powerful and impressive lineage. Rueben’s offspring consistently showcase the beautiful, classic English Labrador look that many admire. He serves as a great example of an improved Labrador, combining excellent physical traits and temperament.
Rueben is rapidly becoming a stunning black Labrador sire, known for producing puppies in nearly every color of the Labrador spectrum. Health-wise, he is clear of all genetic diseases according to Embark testing. Additionally, his hips fall within the medium range for laxity as per PennHip evaluations, with OFA hips graded as GOOD and OFA elbows rated NORMAL, ensuring he passes on sound health to his puppies.
