Time to say Good-bye

The #LuckoftheIrish puppies are 8 weeks old and will be traveling home to spend Easter with their new families. It is always bittersweet for us. Part of our hearts feel such joy knowing we have given them a great start to life. We usually are ready to slow down a bit. That’s a funny thought!

There’s never a slow day when you live with Labradors. They keep us young and active!

The other part of our hearts never let go of our little ones. We raised them, kept them alive and taught them how to go out into the world. We feel a responsibility and connection always with each puppy born at the #CaveInn.

As I was putting together a final video for our puppy families, I was struck by this huge responsibility we humbly accept. Without question or pause, the puppies we raise are always in our hearts.
